Blazy Susan papers are the pink ones. they get asked about a lot, mostly about what makes them pink and whether that changes anything. short answer: the colour is a dye, the paper underneath is ordinary French wood pulp.
- made in France from FSC certified wood pulp.
- the pink is a food-safe dye. the purple papers use a vegetable-based dye.
- vegan and non-GMO, according to Blazy Susan.
- an independent brand from Denver, Colorado, started in 2017. not part of RAW.
pink or purple
beyond the colour, Blazy Susan doesn't claim any difference between pink and purple. pick the one you like the look of.
rolling their tips
Blazy Susan tips are perforated, which means the fold lines are already scored in.
- tear one tip off the booklet.
- fold along the perforations into a small zigzag, like a W.
- roll the rest of the card around it into a cylinder, snug enough to fit the paper.
the rose wraps are different. Blazy Susan's rose wraps are wood-based paper infused with rose extract. there's no gum line, so you seal them with a little moisture. no tobacco, no nicotine.
the short of it
French wood pulp with a food-safe dye. pink or purple is down to taste. roll the tips along their perforations and you're done.
