adjustable. 1400 degrees. works at any angle.
a refillable butane blowtorch with a windproof flame and an adjustable jet. it holds that flame steady in a draught, where a lighter gives up. the box calls it a culinary gastorch, and 1400 degrees celsius is a lot for a kitchen.
the flame dials from a gentle heat to a hard blue jet. it works at any angle, so it doesn't mind being tipped. ignition is a trigger squeeze. refilling takes a standard butane canister at the valve on the base.
blue head, silver body, easy to find in a drawer of things you forgot you owned. it suits caramelising sugar, sealing, and small jobs that want proper heat.
collect from Moe's Newsagents. usually ready in 2 hours.
the flame is adjustable, up to 1400 degrees celsius.

standard butane canisters. the refill valve is on the base.
yes. it holds a steady flame in a draught, which a lighter won't.
